I do not know about you but when I am climbing the last thing I want to worry about is wrecking my iPhone. I go to great lengths to keep it safe. AppleCare+ is a great service but unless there is an Apple Store in your local crag, you’re going to be out of luck if you drop your iPhone taking top-out anchor selfies. That is why I prefer to protect it as a first line of defense and why the only case that I trust up there is thefor three reasons.
First off, this case is the only one I know of that has another layer of Corning Gorilla Glass. This is what sets it apart from the Griffin Survivor, LifeProof Nuud, and the Otterbox Armor or Otterbox Defender.
Secondly, it has a place to strap a lanyard so if I can tether the case to my wrist while it is out of my pocket.
Lastly, the build quality and design are more minimalist than either of the above mentioned cases but it is still compact. The case is at the highest price point for most cases at $124 retail but if you get an Ambassador referral from someone like me (email@example.com), than they’ll take 20% off the top.
